IMAGING EXPO '96, The Document Solutions

In a unique endeavor to help guide and educate individual attendees in their quest for answers to their specific business document management issues, IMAGING EXPO '96 - the East Coast's largest integrated document solutions show to be held in New York City's Jacob Javits Center on September 30 through October 2 - will offer free Practical Application Workshops, "Meet the Experts" conference sessions, and a Help Desk operated by independent systems consultants.

According to the show's director Richard Bennett, these services are designed to help individual attendee's maximize the benefits of IMAGING EXPO's conferences and exhibits.

The in-depth Practical Applications Workshops are industry-specific and designed for information and department-level managers and corporate executives in eight vertical markets: healthcare and medical, insurance, courts and litigation, banking and financial, local and county governments, state and federal governments, manufacturing and engineering, and transportation and utilities. The eight workshops, which will identify those exhibitors whose products are relevant to the workshop topics, will run concurrently through each day of the show.

IMAGING EXPO '96 will also offer free to all attendees "Meet the Experts" sessions each day, conducted by Cohasset Associates, one of the nation's foremost independent consulting practices. These one-and-a-half hour executive briefings and question-and-answer periods will focus on "Finding the Right Imaging Solutions for You," address all aspects of electronic imaging, records management and legal/compliance issues, and cover the latest trends in the industry.

The Help Desk, which will be operated by the Camden Group, a coalition of leading independent systems consultants, will give attendees the opportunity to ask for guidance in navigating the show's exhibits and advice on which conference session could be of the most value in helping solve the attendee's specific business problem.

Other special features of IMAGING EXPO '96 include Technology Theaters, demonstrating real-world solutions in several vertical markets: an Internet Pavilion, displaying on-line document management products and services.
