Infoseek Names Goldberg Moser O'Neill as New Advertising Agency

 

Infoseek Corporation, a leading provider of Internet navigation services, today announced the selection of Goldberg Moser O'Neill (GMO), San Francisco, to handle the Infoseek advertising account, effective immediately.

Annual billings are anticipated to be in excess of $5 million.

James Desrosier, chief marketing officer of Infoseek said, "With the management of the company now installed in the San Francisco Bay Area, we feel it's important to have our marketing resources based locally. Goldberg Moser O'Neill has a history of successfully positioning technology products for consumers and strong creative credentials. Infoseek's advertising account was previously handled by Margeotes, Fertitta & Partners in New York. In a related move, Infoseek recently moved management of it's public relations agency, Edelman Worldwide, from its New York office to its Palo Alto and San Francisco offices.
