Macromedia, Inc. announced a new program designed to better serve the pricing, product and distribution needs of government resellers. Teamed with Ingram Micro's Partnership America&153;, the Government Connection will enable Macromedia to increase its presence at local, state and federal levels by extending lower pricing and easier access to an expanded network of government resellers.
Macromedia's award-winning products, including Authorware®for computer-based training and Director®for theme briefings, are currently used at the visual information centers of various government organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense (Air Force and Army), U.S. Senate, the Library of Congress and the World Bank. In addition, Backstage&153;, the most powerful family of tools for building dynamic, database-powered web sites, meets the growing demand for web-development software in the government market.
