MediaNews ceased publication on Monday Oct 7 after a run of nearly eight months. In a message to it's readers they stated "we hope that MediaNews was useful to you during that time. But though we're proud of what we've accomplished here, MediaNews did not develop an audience large enough to justify the resources required to produce and continue to improve the site. However, we did indeed have a loyal audience, and it was difficult to decide to abandon our readers and this undertaking.

The editors of The online MacinStuff Times wish them all well in there future endeavours.
