Extensis is taking over Adobe Fetch, a digital media database designed to simplify the storage and retrieval of photo images, clip art, and digital movies. Financial terms of the agreement were not released.

As of August 1, Extensis will acquire all rights and assume control of development, marketing, sales, distribution, and support for the product, which will be rebranded Adobe Fetch.

At that time, Extensis Fetch will be available for the Mac for $100.
