A new version of Word Translator for the Macintosh, a bilingual word translation application, has been released. It can be used like a normal dictionary to look up translations and also to translate words from within other applications. It possible to change words and translations to extend and customise the standard dictionaries. This update contains numerous important changes to the appliction, including:

New and lower registration prices The shareware version includes dictionaries for 7 languages: Russian, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Finnish but there are over 100 dictionaries available for registration. The Word Translator web site has more information.
There are currently over 100 dictionaries available for Word Translator including languages like: English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic, Finnish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Croatian, Serbian, Italian and French. Dictionary sizes vary from 25.000 to 120.000 words. Special purpose and technical dictionaries cover topics like aviation and engineering. The dictionary list is Here.
